HoYeon

The success of Squid Game's first Netflix show, Hoyeon, a South Korean model and actress, attracted international attention. Hoyeon was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress, and was awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor In an Drama Series. Hoyeon was born in Myeonmok-dong located in Seoul. She started her modeling career in 2011 as an independent model who walked during Seoul Fashion Week. Hoyeon made it to the finals of Seoul's Next Top Model season 4. The international spotlight came to her in 2016 when she was awarded an exclusive global contract with Louis Vuitton.
